The FIM is pleased to announce that it has granted the Czech Republic based company APO MULTICAM an exclusive licence to exploit the TV and internet rights for the 2018 FIM Sidecar Motocross World Championship.
APO MULTICAM has close to two decades of TV production experience, during which they have produced thousands of shows and live broadcasts in the motorsports sector, including the successful TV and internet coverage of the 2017 FIM Sidecar Motocross World Championship.
APO MULTICAM will be responsible for delivering a total of thirteen highlight shows (26’), one from each event throughout the 2018 season, and a 52’ season review following the final round of the series in late September. The company is also currently exploring the possibility of broadcasting live from two of the events later in the year. The details will be confirmed soon. Throughout the season, APO MULTICAM will be promoting the series via a dedicated website.
MOTORSPORT.TV (https://motorsport.tv) will be the designated official Worldwide broadcaster and media partner of the 2018 FIM Sidecar Motocross World Championship, with a global reach of thirty-eight million households concentrated mostly in Europe.
Other broadcasters include MAV TV (http://www.mavtv.com), covering the USA and Canada, Front Runner UK (http://www.frontrunner.tv), Xsport Channel (http://xsport.ua) in the Ukraine. With a potential total reach of more than eighty million households, this is an amazing opportunity for the sport of Sidecar Motocross.
