Day four of the FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in Chile will see an air of nostalgia fill the paddock as the FIM Vintage Trophy competition gets underway.
Now in its third edition, the FIM Vintage Trophy category celebrates the classic era of Enduro machinery with four classes – ’72, ’77, ’79 and ’82 – as well as an ’86 Evolution category.
Featuring thirteen competitors aboard a strong mix of machinery, for the first time ever the competition will feature a Mexican built Islo motorcycle. Two Mexica riders will take part in the competition, together with nine Germans, One Chilean and one French competitor, who takes to the start of his third FIM Vintage Trophy aboard his 80cc Honda.
Riders will compete on the identical tracks of those in the FIM World, Junior and Women’s Trophy categories, with the FIM ISDE’s final Motocross race in Viña del Mar deciding the winners of the FIM Enduro Vintage Trophy race on 17 November.
