Veteran rider Alex Debon has agreed a deal to race for the BQR Team in the 2009 FIM 250cc World Championship.
The 32-year-old Spaniard returns to the Barcelona-based team for a second stint, having ridden in BQR colours between 2003 and 2005.
Debon, who will ride an Aprilia RSA, revealed his delighted at renewing acquaintances with BQR team boss Raul Romero: "I'm really happy to have signed with BQR again because I know Raul so well."
He added: "Having spent three years together previously I trust in his abilities and trust the people around him.
"Obviously things are different this time around and we have all gained plenty of experience since I first rode for the team in the World Championship.
"I have learned a lot since then and the BQR Team have shown their strengths in recent seasons.
"I hope this new chapter will see us cash in on the work we started together six years ago and achieve our goals together."
Debon enjoyed his best ever 250cc season in 2008, winning two races for Lotus Aprilia on his way to fourth place in the final championship standings.
