The FIM & Youthstream are pleased to announce that online registration process is open for the inaugural FIM E-XBike World Cup which will take place this August, in collaboration with the FMI. This, the first event of its kind featuring E-XBike racing will take place at the iconic ‘Autodromo Enzo and Dino Ferrari’ MXGP circuit of Imola, Italy, on Saturday 17th August 2019 as part of the MXGP of Italy, 17th round of the 2019 FIM Motocross World Championship.
The 2019 FIM E-XBike World Cup will include two categories; E-XBike GP and E-XBike2 open to men and women over 14 years old competing together and owner of an E-MTB (Electric Mountain Bike):
E-XBike GP: E-MTB (Electric Mountain Bike) equipped with a motor with a maximum rated continuous power of more than 250W and whose assistance can exceed 25 km/h without exceeding 45 km/h.
E-XBike2: E-MTB (Electric Mountain Bike) equipped with a motor with a maximum continuous rated power of 250W and whose assistance does not exceed 25 km/h.
The duration of the race of each category will be approximatively 25 minutes + 1lap with a mass start. There will be separate classifications per category for Women and Men.

All riders wishing to participate in the 2019 FIM E-X Bike World Cup must be holder of an FIM E-Bike Motocross Licence and therefore should contact their National Motorcycle Federation prior to the event for more details. Nonetheless, after completing the registration every participant will be put in contact individually by email with the corresponding National Federation for the request of the Licence. This licence is mandatory.

Participants must be at the Imola circuit for technical control either on Friday 16th August 2019 or Saturday 17th August 2019. The detailed timetable will be released in 2 weeks-time alongside with the shortlist of the FIM Regulations of the event.
The FIM E-Xbike World Cup will take place on Saturday 17th August 2019 after the MXGP and MX2 Qualifying Races and will be broadcasted on Facebook and MXGP-TV.com LIVE worldwide. The LIVE coverage will be free and easy to share on social media!
