“Stayin’ Alive” is a motorcycle safety initiative in Switzerland.
- Promoted by the FMS (Swiss national motorcycle federation, and FIM member) and the bfu, the Swiss Council for Accident Prevention society.
Mr Andrzej Witkowski – FIM Vice-President, and chair of the FIM’s Award and Recognition Committee said: “In my opinion it is an original project with a high impact on road safety of motorcyclists. This initiative serves well for all FIM federations which may follow the example in their countries. Campaigns organised on the same (or very similar basis) in more than one country can give a “multiplier effect.”
So how does this work? The campaign connects to riders and promotes the best riding style.
bfu is a member organisation in the European Transport Safety Council. – Alongside FIM a member of the ETSC since its foundation in 1993.
