Vaclav Milik named as wild card for FIM Speedway Grand Prix rounds in Prague.
Czech international Vaclav Milik returns to the world stage as wild card for 2020 FIM Speedway Grand Prix rounds in Prague.
Milik lines up in both the Visit Czech Republic FIM Speedway Grand Prix round five on Friday, September 18 and Aztorin FIM Speedway Grand Prix round six on Saturday, September 19.
The Caslav-born star, who races for Rybnik in Poland’s PGE Ekstraliga, dons the famous No.16 race jacket as the Marketa Stadium stages World Championship action for a record 24th straight season, with the venue celebrating its 25th SGP event on the Saturday night.
The 27-year-old has made 10 SGP appearances, with the highlight of those being his charge to the 2017 Czech SGP final, which saw him claim third place.
Milik could make his first Final appearance in the Monster Energy FIM Speedway of Nations this year after the Czech Republic replaced Germany in the Manchester event on October 24 and 25.
He is joined in Prague for the Czech SGP weekend by track reserves Eduard Krcmar and Jan Kvech, who wear the No.17 and No.18 race jackets respectively.
