A busy weekend for the FIM family, which culminates with the 2018 FIM Awards on Sunday night, gets officially underway this evening with the ‘Workshop for FMNs’ at the Andorra la Vella Congress Center.
The meeting will be attended by members of the various National Federations represented in Andorra and will principally be an opportunity for the FIM to present new administrative processes and explain in some detail certain items on the Agenda of the General Assembly.
Top of the billing will be the exciting new fim-family.com platform, where accredited visitors can interact with each other, find information about Continental Unions and Affiliated Federations, read news about activities of the FIM and those of the members of the National Federations and access a vast online library of official documentation.
Also high on this evening’s agenda will be the new “We, The Riders” campaign, a global Road Safety initiative that was recently announced at the Austrian round of 2018 FIM MotoGP™ World Championship. “We, The Riders” is a call to action, a new movement of responsible motorcyclists from around the world, who all share the joy of riding – and the fight for change.
Other items set to be discussed this evening are details of the FIM Global Motorcycle Mobility Conference in 2019, the European Training Quality Label – a new service available for FMNs – and any other proposals due to be submitted to tomorrow’s General Assembly.
