The FIM is pleased to announce that it has made its selection the permanent wild card riders and nominated substitute riders for the 2016 FIM Speedway Under 21 World Championship Final Series, which will begin at the Adrian Flux Arena, Kings Lynn, Great Britain on 18th June.
In addition to the 12 riders, who have qualified through the elimination rounds, the permanent wild cards are as follows: Krystian Pieszczek (Poland), Joel Andersson (Sweden) and Robert Lambert (Great Britain).
The field will therefore consist of 15 riders from 9 countries: 3 from Poland, 3 from Great Britain, 2 from Denmark, 2 from Australia, 1 from Russia, 1 from Czech Republic, 1 from Germany, 1 from France and 1 from Sweden.

There will be three nominated substitute riders for the series to be available in the event of withdrawal or injury. They are:
- 1st Substitute Rider: Pawel Przedpelski (Poland)
- 2nd Substitute Rider: Nike Lunna (Finland)
-3rd Substitute Rider: Kenny Wennerstam (Sweden)
Following the opening round in Kings Lynn, the series will continue in Pardubice on 16th September and conclude in Gdansk on 2nd October.
