Tonight’s Monster Energy FIM Speedway World Cup Race Off teams have been confirmed by the FIM.
Russia go into tonight’s meeting in Manchester at full strength with Grigorii Laguta returning from injury to join former world No.3 Emil Sayfutdinov and his brother Artem in a powerful top three. Andrei Kudriashov completes the quartet with Viktor Kulakov dropping to reserve.
Danish boss Hans Nielsen has confirmed an unchanged four from Event 1 at Vojens, featuring skipper Niels-Kristian Iversen, Leon Madsen, Kenneth Bjerre and Michael Jepsen Jensen, with Mikkel B Andersen replacing Frederik Jakobsen as under-21 reserve.
Australia are also unchanged from Event 2 at Vastervik, with SGP duo Chris Holder and Jason Doyle leading the way. Aussie and Belle Vue boss Mark Lemon keeps faith with Aces favourite Max Fricke and Sam Masters, with Brady Kurtz at reserve.
And the USA have stood down triple world champion Greg Hancock for tonight’s Race Off, handing reserve Luke Becker a dream call-up into the starting line-up for his first speedway meeting in Europe. Ryan Fisher and Billy Janniro keep their places, with Broc Nicol jetting in from the States to replace Ricky Wells.
Tickets for tonight’s Race Off are still available at the National Speedway Stadium until 8pm. The Final is sold out.
