Lining after lunch
International Six Days’ Trial, Llandrindod Wells, Wales (GBR), from 18 to 23 September 1933, 2 p.m. Riders are waiting in line for the start after the lunch control on the second day – September 19. The riders are F. Tragner (88, 342 DKW) of the German Vase B team, Jack White (84, GBR, 497 Ariel), T. Stewart (96, 366 Royal Enfield) of the Irish Vase B team, Ted Thacker (82, GBR, 346 Royal Enfield) of the British Vase B team, G.J. Spooner (83, 348 Ariel) and W.F.H. Waggett (86, 247 New Imperial).
The International Trophy was won by Germany (with Henne, Stelzer and Mauer-Meyer), one point lost, ahead of Great Britain (Bradley, Perrigo and Rowley), two (!) points lost. It was the first victory for Germany. Czechoslovakia finished third with 1100 points, and Italy fourth with 1400 points. The Silver Vase was won by Great Britain A ahead of Ireland A. Great Britain B was third, Germany B seventh and Ireland B ninth.
