The Final of the FIM Team Speedway World Championship ended with a brilliant victory for the Russian team in the Trud Stadium of Balakovo (Russia), which brought together more than eighteen thousand fans singing in unison, "Russia!" Welcoming the FIM World Champions.
The Russians were in the lead almost from the beginning of the meeting. The fact that the Russian riders were at home helped.
