At the 1999 Annecy Congress to:
- Mr Pierlucio TINAZZI. The Nicolas Rodil del Valle Medal of the FIM Motorcyle Merit was awarded posthumously to Mr Pierlucio Tinazzi for his couageous behaviour during the disaster in th Mont-Blanc tunnel, when he saved several lives with his motorcycle until he died himself from asphyxiation.
At the 2005 Geneva Biennial Session to:
- Mr Simon MILWARD. The Nicolas Rodil del Valle Medal of the FIM Motorcycle Merit was awarded posthumously to former FEMA Secretary General Simon Milward, who passed away in an accident in Mali in February 2005.
