Martin Smolinski best challenger in Forssa

The 2010 FIM Long Track Challenge was raced at 25th of september in Forssa - Finland. All the 18 riders had the same target, to be on the TOP 7 in this race and to be seeded for the 2011 FIM Long Track World Championship Final Series.
 
German rider Martin Smolinski ruled the race scoring maximum 30 points. His country fellow Herbert Rudolph suffered engineblow in heat 11 but managed to score 22 points and reach the second place. British riders Richard Hall and Glen Phillips had a run-off for the third place with 21 points. Philips was leading the run-off but his engine blow up in the last lap. Finnish crowd was cheering for Aki-Pekka Mustonen. Young Finn scored 20 points and reached the place for 2011 Final series. Well experienced L ong Track rider Matthias Kröger got the sixth place with 18 points. Jerome Lespinasse (FRA) and Sirg Schützbach (SWI) had a run-off for the 7th place. Schützbach was leading the heat by a mile but he sufferd an engine problems in the last lap, so Lespinasse passed him and was the last man in TOP 7.
