Free practice Thursday, 26 teams took to the track in sunny conditions but the track was wet from over night rain.
Joining the regular championship runners were newly crowned German Sidecar Championship winners Markus Schlosser and Thomas Hofer LCR Suzuki setting third fastest time behind Pekka Paivarinta Adolf Hanni LCR Suzuki, Tim Reeves Gregory Cluze LCR Honda. Also 2010 French Champions Franck Barbier Emmanuel Debroise LCR Suzuki setting 10th fastest time. Sitting fourth in the British Championship is Andy Peach Charlie Richardson LCR Suzuki they set 5th fastest time their team mates Roger Body Lee Barrett are also wild cards this weekend. Scottish driver Scott Lawrie and English passenger James Neave who are leading the Scottish Sidecar Championship invited team this meeting as well but have raced in Croatia and Sachsen Ring Germany this year as wild card entrants.
All teams will be hoping for dry conditions to improve their times tomorrow.
