Kylmäkorpi - Long Track Leader

"A packed Stadium" with more than 9000 enthusiastic Spectators joined the Long Track Final No. 5 in Vechta.

All Fans expected a Hard Battle for the win between Finlands new Hero and current Leader Joonas  Kylmäkorpi and Dutch second placed Rider Theo Pijper.

Both Reached the Final Heat No. 15 and Battled with the surprises of the Day Mathieu Tresarieu and Track Reserve Martin Smolinski, Eenrum Winner Andrew Appleton of GB and No. 3 of the Intermediate Classification - Germanys Richard Speiser made the Line Up complete.

After a Fantastic Battle between Tresarieu and Kylmäkorpi the "Flying Finn" took the Win just ahead of Tresarieu and Speiser. 4. Martin Smolinski, 5. Appleton and due to Engine troubles on 6.th place Pijper.

Kylmäkorpi is now 26 Points ahead of Pijper who is the only one who can -in Theorie - take the win from Kylmäkorpi in Marianske - Lazne /CZ next Saturday.

There we expect also the Battle for place 7 (Direct Qualification for 2011) and place 13 ( Last Place to Reach the Long Track Challenge in Forssa/ Finland) on 25. of September.

A Big Race is expected in Marianske Lazsne on 18 September and the Gates are open for a huge Crowd.
