FIM President Vito Ippolito, FIM/CMS Director Dr. Wolfgang Srb and Youthstream President Giuseppe Luongo, welcomed all the media to the 2012 season on Sunday. They all expressed their satisfaction of a bright future in front of us expanding the FIM Motocross World Championship worldwide.
Mr. Luongo explained that the FIM Motocross World Championship is growing significantly even undergoing a global economical crisis and the series will be extended to those countries where the markets are growing, such as Brazil, Russia, Indonesia, India, Thailand and the Middle East. So already in 2013 the MXGP will have two events in South America, one in Thailand and another one in the Middle East.
Mr. Luongo was also very pleased to announce the expansion of the international TV coverage that reaches Europe, the USA, Canada, South America, Africa, Asia and Australia.
