John Van Den Berk official trainer and talent scout

Two times FIM Motocross World Champion John Van Den Berk has signed an agreement with Youthstream and FIM to become the official trainer and talent scout of the FIM Motocross World Championship.

The main goal of the creation of this new department is to help the sport grow worldwide, providing the best formation to the riders, trainers and the officials in those countries where the interest in Motocross is growing. Besides, Mr. Van Den Berk will also be in charge of finding new talents in order to give them the opportunity to race the FIM Motocross World Championship in the near future.

FIM Deputy President Mr. Jorge Viegas explained: “It is great to have races outside Europe, but we also need riders from those countries in order to make this sport global. The fundamental strategy of the FIM is to find new talents and not only train the riders, but also the officials in order to keep on growing in the correct direction.”
