Hermunen poleman in Sicily

27/05/12 - 02:08

A typical Sicilian sunny and hot weather has welcomed this first day of races and has attracted many people, who for the first time can see these spectacular races in their own city.

The Finnish Mauno Hermunen is dominating this world qualification eve, with the best timing of the day he has come through the French world champion Adrien Chareyre (Aprilia Fast Wheels) and the Italian Ivan Lazzarini (HM Honda Racing), who has shown to be at ease on the sicilian track. Forth place then for the championship leader, the French Thomas Chareyre (TM Racing Factory).

First seasonal pole for the Finnish Mauno Hermunen (TM Racing Factory) with his fastest round 1’05.167, a timing that he reached after many fast rounds that permitted him to gain the pole position before the French world champion Adrien Chareyre (Aprilia Fast Wheels) and the Italian Ivan Lazzarini (HM Honda Racing), pole position in April in Lombardy.

The French world leader Thomas Chareyre (TM Racing Factory) has gained the forth place, within the first four fastest riders that tomorrow will match against each other to gain the best start position in the Superpole. Fifth place for the Italian Teo Monticelli (Honda Freccia), before the Italian Max Verderosa (Honda HBV), the Slovenian Uros Nastran (Suzuki Lux Performance), the Italian policeman Christian Ravaglia (Ktm Miglio) and the Italian Elia Sammartin (Suzuki Pergetti).
