Sepang test a hit with Bridgestone

New one-make tyre supplier Bridgestone declared the three-day MotoGP Sepang test a success after riders reported positive feedback during their time in Malaysia.

Following the decision to award the tyre supply contract to the Japanese company the test in Sepang was the ideal opportunity for Bridgestone to gather important data and rider feedback ahead of the first race of the season in Qatar on April 12.

Bridgestone's Tohru Ubukata, the company's Manager Motorcycle Race Tyre Development, said: "The test has been very successful for us, as all the teams responded positively to the performance and durability of our tyres, and we have gathered some valuable data relating to our extra hard compound rear tyres.
