Riders with the greatest number of FIM World Championship titles

Here is a list of all riders World Champions in the different FIM World Championships through history who have clinched five or more FIM World Championship titles, all disciplines combined. This list is now updated with the 2010 titles and two of 2011.

One more World title in out-door Trial in 2010, and one in X-Trial in 2011 make a total of 9 titles for Toni Bou (Spain, Trial/X-Trial). Daniel Willemsen (Netherlands, Sidecar Motocross) clinched his 8th title. Russian Ice Racing rider Nikolai Krasnikov got his 7th consecutive title, same performance as Giacomo Agostini and Dougie Lampkin – except for the fact that Agostini did it twice: in the 350cc and 500cc Grand Prix.

Max Biaggi joined the club with his 2010 Superbike World title, added to his four 250cc Grand Prix crowns. Last but not least, Spanish Trial rider Laia Sanz is the first female to reach five World titles.
