Saison 2012 difficile pour les italiens du MCS Racing Ipone qui n’ont pas réussi à rester sur le bel élan qui l’avait mené à la quatrième place au classement Superstock mondial en 2011. Créée en 1993, l’équipe vénitienne managée par Andrea Fanotto n’a pas dit son dernier mot en Coupe du Monde FIM Superstock.
